Sunrise Conversations is a series of early morning gatherings and informal sharing sessions, highlighting the work and voices of our international residents. Stop by before work for coffee and croissants - and meet FABRIKKEN’s Residents who will present their practice, and join in conversation with the attendees. Everyone intereseted is welcome.
Sunrise Conversations is arranged in collaboration with curator and art consultant Robin Frederiksen/Another Public.
About the artists
Irene Margrethe Kaltenborn (b. 1997) is a Norwegian artist and filmmaker who holds a master's degree from Malmö Art Academy. She works within a cinematic universe where poetic and political perspectives intertwine, with philosophical and existential questions at its core. Eeva-Riitta Eerola (b. 1980) is a visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland. She holds a master's degree from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and has also studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris.

FABRIKKEN’s Residencies
Eeva-Riitta Eerola is part of The Finnish Cultural Foundation Programme – a collaboration for artists based in Finland. The programme offers two three-month residencies a year with active mentoring and curatorial support.
Irene M. Kaltenborn is part of the FAIR programme – a research programme that welcomes visual artists based in the Nordic and Baltic countries in three-months residencies. Supported by Nordic Culture Point, Det Obelske Familiefond and The Danish Arts Foundation.
