Sunrise Conversations is a series of early morning gatherings and informal sharing sessions, highlighting the work and voices of our international residents. Stop by before work for coffee and croissants - and meet FABRIKKEN’s Residents who will present their practice, and join in conversation with the attendees. 
Everyone intereseted is welcome.


Sunrise Conversations is arranged in collaboration with curator and art consultant Robin Frederiksen/Another Public.


About the artists
Antti Turkko
is an artist and architect, based in Finland, with an interest in the ways and narratives through which space is experienced, produced and consumed. Daniel Shanken is an artist and researcher based in Sweden whose practice focuses on the interplays between technology and cognition, tracing their ongoing effects on the environment, consciousness, and culture.

FABRIKKEN’s Residencies
Antti Turkko is part of The Finnish Cultural Foundation Programme – a collaboration for artists based in Finland. The programme offers two three-month residencies a year with active mentoring and curatorial support.
Daniel Shanken of the FAIR programme – a research programme that welcomes visual artists based in the Nordic and Baltic countries in three-months residencies. Supported by Nodic Culture Point, Det Obelske Familiefond and The Danish Art Foundation.
